Biography:

Whitney M. Bolton is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.  She received her undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management from George Mason University.  

Ms. Bolton is certified by the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission to represent juveniles as court-appointed counsel in criminal proceedings.  Additionally, she recently obtained her certification as a Guardian Ad Litem for children.

Volunteering is an important part of Ms. Bolton's personal and professional life.  She is an active volunteer attorney with the Fairfax Bar Association's Neighborhood Outreach Project.  She regularly meets with low-income clients at community centers to offer legal advice and provide pro bono representation on a variety of civil issues, such as divorce and family law issues, employment law matters, public benefits, and landlord-tenant issues.  Additionally, she volunteers with Legal Services of Northern Virginia in the Attorney of the Day program, working with victims of domestic violence.

As an accomplished human resources professional, Ms. Bolton is capable of handling your employment and business-related legal issues. She has extensive experience performing human resources analytical functions, handling employee relations issues, writing OFCCP-compliant Affirmative Action Plans, recruiting, and designing legally-compliant compensation plans. Also, Ms. Bolton holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
